CHASE RSP 5.0 FRAME (Premium Ultralight)

Chase BMX started with the RSP 1.0 frame that Connor Fields rode from Day 1. Each time we updated the frame, we took the feedback from Connor, then Joris, and other Pro riders we sponsored. The RSP 5.0 is the culmination of the refinements and upgrades to make it our best Alloy frame ever.

The Chase RSP 5.0 Frames feature Tapered Headtube (Expert XL and Larger sizes), an Aero Seat Post tube, Enclosed Rear dropouts, Press Fit Bottom Brackets (Expert XL and Above), Triple and Double Butted tubes, Hydro and Muscle formed 7005 T6 Premium Ultralight tubing. RSP 5.0 Frames now feature a new, internal cable routing from the Head Tube, through the Down Tube & Bottom Bracket, and exits out of the Chain Stay (Expert XL and Larger), and for the Mini – Expert, the cable exits out of the bottom of the down tube.

All Chase RSP 5.0 frames are Disc Brake only designed frames. The dropouts were restructured to offer better clearance for a wide array of disc brake calibers, improving the overall braking performance, and now compatible for both post and flat mount disc brake system. (Disc Adapter kit sold separately)

The Chase RSP 5.0 Frame is now offered in a OS20 frame size option with refined geometry for riders wanting to use OS20 wheels, forks, and tires. OS20 uses the oversizes rims, tires, and forks to give larger riders a more comfortable ride as well as experience all the benefits of OS20.

3/8" (10mm) closed dropouts with integrated tensioners
The RSP 5.0 Rear Dropouts use a standard 3/8 (10MM) bolt in axle. This is not a smaller sized thru axle, but the standard BMX Rear hub size 3/8 but the bolts need to remove from the hub, so you can insert them into the closed dropouts and then tread into the hubs. .
RSP 5.0 Frames are made exclusively for Disc Brakes and Require an adapter to do so. Both (Post and Flat mount) Elevn Disc Brake adapter was designed to work correctly with the frames, but other brands may work.
