Cycling jerseys for sale in Malaysia — road, MTB and casual jerseys in short and long sleeve styles.

About Jerseys

Cycling jerseys are engineered for performance in the saddle — moisture-wicking fabrics pull sweat away from the skin, while a longer back hem prevents the jersey riding up during the forward-leaning riding position. In Malaysia's heat and humidity, lightweight mesh or aero-cut jerseys in light colours are the most practical choice for most of the year.

Road jerseys typically have three rear pockets for storage. Bib shorts are sold separately from jerseys in performance cycling, though casual or commuter jerseys often pair with regular shorts. When buying used, check the elasticity of the collar and cuffs, the condition of the rear pockets and zippers, and whether the fabric has pilled or lost its shape from repeated washing.

Frequently Asked Questions

Short-sleeve jerseys cover almost all Malaysian riding conditions. Arm warmers are useful for early morning rides or air-conditioned indoor sessions, but the heat and humidity mean you rarely need them outdoors. Most local riders choose light-coloured short-sleeve jerseys with good ventilation year-round.
Cycling jerseys run fitted. Most brands recommend sizing up one size from your regular clothing if you prefer a relaxed fit, or sticking to your normal size for a race-fit feel. Always check the brand sizing chart — European and Asian sizing can differ significantly. Look for chest and torso length measurements rather than just S/M/L labels.
Turn inside out and wash in cold or lukewarm water on a gentle cycle. Avoid fabric softener — it clogs the moisture-wicking fibres. Air-dry flat or hanging — never tumble dry, as heat damages the elastane and degrades technical fabrics. Rinse jerseys promptly after riding in Malaysia's heat; dried salt and sweat break down fibres faster.
